The Junior High School is an integral academic unit of Liceo de Cagayan University known for its longstanding history of excellence in providing holistic education anchored on Total Human Formation. The department offers rich academic experience that equips students with fundamental knowledge, skills, attitude, and habits through quality instruction, research, and service learning for global competitiveness.
Liceo U Junior High School is the only High School Program in Region X granted Level III Re-accreditation Status by the Philippine Association of Colleges and Universities Commission on Accreditation (PACUCOA). Poised for internationalization, the department is a proud partner of Goethe Institut Philippinen through the “Schools: Partners for the Future” program, also known as “Schulen: Partner der Zukunft (PASCH), a prime initiative of the Federal Republic of Germany; thus giving Liceo Junior High School the distinction as the only secondary school offering the German Language course. The academic curricula of Junior High School is further enhanced towards innovative approaches to teaching and learning with technology under the RECAST Grant Program of the Private Education Assistance Committee (PEAC), in partnership with The Inteligente Publishing, Inc. More so, the department is a promising ESC School committed to meet and exceed the minimum standards set by DepEd in delivering quality education to secondary school learners.
