COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT

 

Liceo H.E.L.P.S Program 2015

HELPS (Health, Education, Legal Public Services) is an annual community extension program of Liceo de Cagayan University. The Health Allied Programs collaborate to bring to the community the University’s outreach program that covers medical check-ups, dialogue on health services and procedures, dispensing of medications, health counseling, and other allied activities. This event was successfully launched on February 22, 2015, at the Civic Center.

This event was successfully held on February 24, 2018, at the Heritage Building.

The Health Allied Programs collaborate to bring to the community the University’s outreach program that covers medical check-ups, dialogue on health services and procedures, dispensing of medications, health counseling, and other allied activities. This event was successfully held on February 23, 2019, at the Heritage Building.

Pharmaceutical Care Program (Pharmacy Day 2018)

Pharmaceutical Care Program is an annual community extension program of the College of Pharmacy to its adopted barangay (SitioPita, Pasil, Kauswagan). Held on March 6, 2018, with the theme “Bringing Healthcare to Every Home”, the event was organized by the Sigma Phi Officers of the College and participated in by the community residents and the Pharmacy dean, students, staff, and faculty. Dr Abegail Lamayra gave a short talk on “Ways to Stay and Maintain Healthy and Proper Hygiene.” Feeding and gift-giving were also done during the event.

Pharmaceutical Care Program (Pharmacy Day 2019)

The College of Pharmacy celebrated its annual Pharmacy Day on February 21, 2019. One highlight of the event was a community service wherein the faculty, staff, and student volunteers gave the residents of the adopted (Pasil, Kauswagan) food items.
