Liceo de Cagayan University

The College of Pharmacy held its 5th Pharmacy Research Colloquium at Paseo del Rio Campus, Liceo de Cagayan University. The colloquium was a venue for the dissemination of research findings, providing the Pharmacy students with the opportunity to gain public speaking experience, learn about research by academic discipline, and experience interaction with experts.

The event, which was held at the main campus of the University, provided the students and the faculty with the opportunity to bond and have fun. The exhibit allowed the students from all levels to demonstrate their skills and creativity in expressing their theoretical understanding in the field.

This regularly held event assembles all faculty and students to jumpstart the beginning of each school year. Other than the orientation of students about the college and university academic policies, the event also holds games to facilitate faculty-student interaction.

This event was the College’s community service involving the students and the faculty. The activities during the event included, among others, Zumba for physical fitness and games for interaction with the community members (i.g. children and parents).

In this institutional outreach program, the College of Pharmacy engaged in a medical mission, dispensing drugs and food supplements for free to the residents of the adopted community.
