Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (BECEd)

Bachelor of Early Childhood Education is a four-year degree program that provides students with a strong foundation in early childhood care and education and hands-on experience for them to become competent preschool teachers.


PROGRAM EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES:

    • • Teach across the different learning areas in Kindergarten, Elementary and Secondary Grades;
    • • Engage in various trainings, seminars, workshops and other activities for professional enhancement;
    • • Conduct action researches that would resolve issues and concerns in classroom settings;
    • • Practice evidence-based decision making through the use of assessment results to improve educational practices; and
    • • Exhibit professional behaviors, ethics and values the Licean way.

    • • Demonstrate in-depth understanding of the diversity of learners in various learning areas;

Bachelor of Elementary Education (BEEd)‎

Bachelor of Elementary Education is a four-year degree program designed to prepare students for teaching at the elementary level. The program equips students with pedagogical content knowledge and skills to make them highly competent elementary teachers.

Bachelor of Physical Education (BPEd)‎

Bachelor of Physical Education is a four-year degree program that equips students with competencies necessary to meet learners; psychomotor, cognitive, and affective needs. The program develops students’ physical literacy and provides them with training in various sports and physical activities to make them qualified and competent educators in the field.

Bachelor of Secondary Education (BSEd) Major in English, Filipino, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies

Bachelor of Secondary Education is a four-year degree program with different majors (Social Studies, English, Mathematics, Sciences, and Filipino). The program provides students with content knowledge and pedagogical skills necessary for effective secondary instruction.

    • • Graduates of Bachelor of Secondary Education may pursue a career path in any educational institution. They could apply as a teaching assistant, private tutor, subject teacher, and basic education teacher employed locally, nationally, and internationally. Since BSE is a 4-year degree program, graduates may also work in the non-academic private and public institutions in the Philippines and abroad.

Bachelor of Special Needs Education (Generalist)‎

Bachelor of Special Needs Education is a four-year degree program that prepares students for instruction and management of learners with additional needs in inclusive and segregated educational settings. The program equips students with the necessary knowledge, skills, and attitude for teaching in the basic education curriculum and alternate curricula depending on the learners’ needs.
