ENROLLMENT PROCESS FOR FOREIGN STUDENTS
- STEP 1: Go to the Internationalization Office
- Advising and initial evaluation of foreign documents
- STEP 2: Online Enrollment
- Visit www.liceo.edu.ph and click ENROLL NOW
- Choose your department and fill out the Google Form
- STEP 3: Go to the ADMISSIONS OFFICE
- Fill up the Enrollment Process Indicator Form (EPIF), Student Profile Form, and Waiver Form
- Submit the following credentials:
- For Freshmen:
- Academic Records from the Origin country
- Certificate of Good Moral Character
- Photocopy of Birth Certificate
- 2 Long Size Brown Envelopes
- 2 Long folders with plastic jacket
- 4 pcs. 2 x 2 picture
- Medical Certificate
- Passport (Photocopy)
- Alien Certificate of Registration (Photocopy)
- For Transferees:
- Honorable Dismissal
- Transcript of Records (for Evaluation only)
- Certificate of Good Moral Character
- Photocopy of Birth Certificate
- 2 Long Size Brown Envelopes
- 2 Long folders with plastic jacket
- 4 pcs. 2 x 2 picture
- Passport (Photocopy)
- CHED Transferee Certificate
- Alien Certificate of Registration (Photocopy)
- Certificate of Eligibility for Admission to Medicine (CEM)
- National Medical Admission Test (NMAT) Certificate Result (For Incoming Medicine only)
- STEP 6: Go to the Cashier
- Pay required down payment
- STEP 7: Go to the College/Department
- Evaluation and loading of the subjects to be enrolled
- STEP 8: Go to Liceo Press
Note: Submit this Form at the Registrar’s Office after processing the school ID.
On Enrollment:
- Foreign students may enroll in the undergraduate or graduate program upon submission of Permit-to-Study or Student Visa 9(f) and upon compliance with the requirements of the Commission on Higher Education (CHED), the Bureau of Immigration, and the University.
- Other course requirements must be completely satisfied but subject to the approval of the University.
- After having met all the admission requirements, foreign student applicant receives a copy of the Certificate of Eligibility for submission to the Bureau of Immigration, Manila District Office, and the Commission on Higher Education.
Requirements for Acceptance
Foreign students shall submit the following documents:
- Notarized Affidavit of Support
- Scholastic Records duly authenticated by the Philippine Foreign Service Post
- Data Page of Foreign Student Passport (Photocopy)
- Medical Certificate
- Police Clearance/Report (after a six-month stay)
CHECKLIST OF DOCUMENTARY REQUIREMENTS FOR SPECIAL STUDY PERMIT (SSP)
- Letter request addressed to the Commissioner from the representative of the petitioning school;
- Duly accomplished CGAF (BI Form CGAF-003-Rev 0). If the applicant is a minor, it shall be signed by the parent or the legal guardian;
- Photocopy of passport bio-page and latest admission with valid authorized stay;
- Certificate of Acceptance issued by the learning institution accredited by the Bureau of Immigration to accept foreign students, indicating the number of months (length of study) of the technical/vocational, special and/or primary or secondary level courses for applicants below 18 years of age;
- Photocopy of BI school accreditation ID of the registrar or school representative;
- National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) Clearance, in case of flying schools;
Conversion to Student Visa
Foreign students must:
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Have sufficient support for education
- Have entered the country temporarily solely to take up a course of study higher than high school
- Does not belong to any class of excluded foreign nationals nor have any ground for deportation exit against FS
- Have submitted and complied with all documentary requirements (with HEI)
FS/HEI shall submit the following documents:
- Written endorsement signed by the School Registrar with the school’s dry seal
- Joint letter request using the school letterhead with dry seal
- Duly accomplished Consolidated General Application Form (BI Form CGAF-003-Revo)
- Photocopy of Passport
- Original copy of Notice of Acceptance (NOA) with a clear impression of the school’s dry seal
- Original copy of the Certificate of Eligibility for Graduation issued by CHED (for Medicine and Dentistry)
- Police Clearance
- Photocopy of Bureau of Immigration School Accreditation ID
- Bureau of Immigration Clearance Certificate
Extension of Period of Stay
FS/HEI shall submit the following documents:
- Joint letter request using the school letterhead and dry seal
- Duly accomplished Consolidated General Application Form (BI Form CGAF-003-Revo)
- Photocopy of Passport
- Transcript of Records (2 previous semesters)
- Certificate of Enrolment signed by the Registrar with dry seal
- Certificate of Honorable Dismissal from previous school (for transferee)
- CHED Endorsement (in case of shifting or transfer)
- Original copy of Certificate of Eligibility for Graduation
- Photocopy of BI School Accreditation ID
- NBI Clearance
- NBI Clearance Certificate
