FACULTY MEMBERS ENHANCE TEACHING STRATEGIES
Bringing with them their expertise and professional teaching experiences, the Higher Education and Senior High School faculty members took part in the university’s first Institutional Faculty Development Program (FDP) for the academic year on September 10, 2025. This pilot training session highlighted the integration of Universal Design for Learning (UDL) principles into the curriculum.
With diverse fields of specialization represented, participants were grouped by college and engaged in collaborative learning tasks. These included exploring how UDL can be applied in syllabus design, selecting effective instructional strategies, and implementing inclusive assessments.
The session was facilitated by Dr. Maribeth M. Cabrejas, esteemed faculty member of the School of Teacher Education Graduate School, who shared her expertise on fostering inclusive and flexible learning environments.
