The Office of the Vice President for Research, Extension, Planning and Innovation aligns the threefold functions of the University—research, extension, and instruction—while strengthening institutional planning and innovation.
Research serves as a fundamental driver of academic processes and knowledge creation. The Office supports initiatives that respond to worldwide concerns, national priorities, institutional needs, and issues affecting the University’s target communities.
