Liceo de Cagayan University, through its Office of Student Affairs (OSA), successfully conducted the Student Leadership Capacity Training on SBO and Sub-Organizations' Roles and Responsibilities on July 8, 2026, at EAC 203.
Anchored on the theme, "Empowering Student Leaders for Responsible Governance and Total Human Formation," the training brought together Freshmen Student Body Organization (FSBO) officers, College Student Body Organization (SBO) officers, sub-organization officers, accredited student organization officers, and other recognized student leaders from across the University.
The activity served as a platform to strengthen participants' understanding of organizational leadership, governance, and accountability while reinforcing the vital role of student organizations in fostering an active and values-driven campus community. Through a series of capacity-building sessions and organizational action planning activities, participants enhanced their leadership competencies, decision-making skills, and commitment to ethical and responsible service.
The training also emphasized the importance of collaboration, effective organizational management, and proactive student engagement, enabling officers to better respond to the needs of their respective organizations while contributing meaningfully to University life.
By investing in leadership formation, Liceo de Cagayan University continues to cultivate student leaders who embody competence, integrity, and social responsibility, advancing its commitment to Total Human Formation and preparing graduates to become transformative leaders within and beyond the campus.
