Liceo U’s Titans Finishes Second in Basketball Mindanao Finals
Kudos to Liceo U’s basketball team, Titans, for finishing runner-up in the Philippine Collegiate Champions League (PCCL) Escandor Cup 2023: Mindanao Finals. Liceo de Cagayan University faced off against Jose Maria College in the championship match played at Davao City Recreation Center (Almendras Gym) last April 30, 2023. In the elimination round, the Titans outplayed Rizal Memorial Colleges, Southern City Colleges of Zamboanga, and Jose Maria College.
In the team’s lineup were Clark John Abuhan, James Earl Laniton, Renz Gerald Jamago, Christiantly Perocho, Marben Anthony Fuentes, Jerald Orestes Abao, Jan Mervin Demata, Janaimer Cabañez, Wilkins Valiente, Ryner Ano-os, Evan Jose Agbong, and Jerico Glenn Ostrea. The team had James Clifford Racines as head coach and Jerico Racines and Lawrence Palabrica as assistant coaches.
