Core Scholarship Policy

The grant with the greater benefit takes priority

When a student qualifies for both academic and non-academic scholarship grants, the student shall avail of the grant that offers the bigger benefit.

Compare University grants

Academic and non-academic grants are evaluated so the student receives the more advantageous University scholarship.

Scholarship Administration Guidelines

Additional grants, screening schedules, and scholar status are governed by the following provisions.

External Scholarships

Scholarships offered by outside organizations may be availed in addition to either an academic or non-academic scholarship. This is subject to the rules and limitations of the outside grant.

Screening Schedule

The screening of prospective scholars under this category shall be conducted one week before the enrollment period or earlier, but not later than one week before the start of regular classes.

University Oversight

The Office of the Student-Personnel Services determines the guidelines for the admission, retention, and disqualification of scholars under this category.
