Discipline and Sanctions
Liceo de Cagayan University reserves her right to impose disciplinay action against any students who is found performing acts clearly advocating destructive influence on other students and exhibiting patently undesirable conduct.
The right to define, determine, and evaluate acts and conduct justifying suspension or expulsion, as well as the right to impose such actions and sanctions, is herby vested in the Office of the Student Personnel Services.
The disciplinary sanctions may either be a reprimand, warning, or notice and/or confiscation of those objects found destructive, disruptive, or undesirable. The disciplinary sanctions mat either be suspension or expulsion.
In case of suspension, it shall not be less than three (3) school days or not more that ten (10) days subject to the discretion of the SPS Direction in consultation with the offender's Dean.
Expulsion is an extreme form of administrative sanction which debars the student from admission to any public and private school. Any case involving expulsion shall be properly dealt with in accordance with the university's rules and regulations pursuant to the privisions of the Manual of Regulatios for Private Schools and subject further to the rules and regulations issued by the commisision on Higher Education (CHED).
