Ms. Pauline Luceño gave her best during her Junior Recital yesterday. She was full of emotions and delivered each song with precise expression and flourish. The repertoire was carefully selected to suit the range and tone of her voice.

She sang arias, kundimans and musicals such as O Rest in the Lord, Ave Maria, Clavelitos, Tanto Sospirero, Bituing Marikit, Dove Sono, Panis Angelicus, O Del Mio Dolce Ardor, Sa Umaga, None But The Lonely Heart and Climb Every Mountain. Ms. Consuelo Escudero brought a well- balanced piano accompaniment to the pieces.

Ms. Luceño is a Music Teacher from Misamis Oriental General Comprehensive High School (MOGHS). She handles the Special Program for the Arts in MAPEH and Piano. Soon after she finished her Bachelor of Music in Music Education in 2011 she stayed at San Agustin University College of Music in Iloilo City for two years to attain her double major in Voice and Piano. During the National Music Competition for Young Artists (NAMCYA) in 2002 she represented Region X in voice category. Her winning piece was Jose Estella’s Malungkot na Maya. She was fourteen years old then.
