During the oath-taking ceremony of the new X-ray and Radiologic Technologists at the Manila Hotel last July 17, Sunday, the Professional Regulation Commission presented a Plaque of Recognition to Liceo de Cagayan University.

The Plaque of Recognition Liceo U. received was “for being the top performing school [1st Place] in the recently administered June 2011 X-ray and Radiologic Techonology Licensure Examination,” said Wilhelmina M. Gana, Chairman of the PRC’s Board of Radiologic Technology.

During the recent licensure examination, 26 of the 28 Liceo graduates who took the board passed it. “Our passing average of 92.86% is higher than the national passing average of 49.61%,” noted Dean Estelita G. Dy of Liceo U’s College of Radiologic Technology.

In fact, two Liceans made it to the top ten: Gerald Mark Majarocon Willkom placed 8th, while Carl Benedict Oliad Cabasag was 9th placer in the June 7 and 8, 2011 Rad Tech board.

Ms. Gana extended to Dr. Mariano M. Lerin, Liceo’s University President, “warmest congratulations.”

Ms. Gana led the Board in handing the Plaque of Recognition to Dr. Lerin.
