Graduate Studies
The Liceo de Cagayan University School of Graduate Studies operates in trimesters. This mode enables the students, who are mostly professionals wishing to upgrade their qualifications, to finish the academic requirements within a shorter time.

The schedule of classes on weekends during the four months of every trimester provides the students with an ample time to do their researches, projects, and other course requirements.

Goals

To contribute to a pool of innovative, highly competent and dynamic manpower for the development of Mindanao and the Asia Pacific Region. To produce efficient and effective leaders who can create or discover new knowledge, imbued with the ideals of service and a passion for excellence.

Objectives

Towards this end the School of Graduate Studies endeavors to achieve the following objectives through instruction, research, production, and community outreach:
  1. To develop in the students cognitive competence and praxis - translating ideas into action
    • in their chosen fields of specialization,
    • in research, and
    • in the communication of research;
  2. To provide opportunities for leaders, managers, and staff to formalize their experiences through an informed understanding of organizational phenomena and , at the same time, inbuing them with desirable Filipino cultural values;
  3. To foster in the faculty, staff, and students
    • awareness of social needs and
    • engagement in community-related projects; and
  4. To forge creative and productive partnerships with the industries, entrepreneurial communities, other agencies, and offshore academic institutions.
  5. To utilize university expertise and leading technologies into services as a means,
    • to meet long-term manpower demands and
    • to help uplift the lives of disadvantaged groups including the urban poor.
