PROGRAM OBJECTIVES
General
Within the context of, and in consonance to the vision of the University to prepare men and women to be responsible leaders in the various professions anchored on total human formation, the program prepares professional future teachers intellectually, spiritually, socially, emotionally, and physically satisfying roles in the teaching profession and in related educational activities both in the public and private educational sectors.
Specific:
Bachelor of Elementary Education (BEEd)
- to produce the following professional elementary school teachers: generalists who can teach across the different learning areas in grade school, special education teachers, or the early childhood education teachers who can develop the intellectual, moral, spiritual, emotional, physical, and social aspects of the learners.
- to produce committed professional elementary school teachers imbued with dedication and love of work, the passion for excellence, friendly attitude, research skills, and community service.
- to equip the graduates skills in teaching different subjects at the pre and the elementary levels proficiently and effectively.
Bachelor of Secondary Education (BSEd)
- to produce professional high school teachers who can teach in one of the different learning areas in high school like Mathematics, English, and MAPEH, among others; and who are responsive to the intellectual, moral, spiritual, emotional, physical, and social development of learners.
- to produce professional high school teachers imbued with commitment, dedication and love of work, the passion for excellence, friendly attitude, research skills, and community service.
