Goals and Objectives
Liceo de Cagayan University is a non-sectarian college dedicated to the service of the people in the community where it stands. It provides the students with ample opportunities in the pursuit of knowledge and ultimately in their careers for them to respond effectively to the changing needs and conditions of the world.
As a Filipino university, it is committed to the infusion of national identity by instilling in the heart of every student the pride as a Filipino.
She tries to combine work and study, social involvement and academic improvement. She has become an instrument for greater equity in the quest for a better life. Her realigned educational tenets have been consistent with the national development program for which the upgrading of the quality of students and graduates is a pioneering experiment to produce a Licean true in mind and spirit.
The Liceo de Cagayan University provides the students with a dynamic curriculum that covers a wide spectrum of educational objectives such as moral character, personal discipline, civic consciousness, citizenship training, and professional expertise enhanced by actual community outreach programs.
Likewise, Liceo de Cagayan University believes in the development of discipline, loyalty, integrity, excellence and scholarship through educational programs that preserve the nation's rich customs, traditions, beliefs, and interests.
The Licean's awareness of the problems of the community enables him to actively participate in the basic thrust of the programs and projects of the government. The students' education is his tool in working out a firm foundation for the community. In so doing, Liceo de Cagayan University hopes that the students will be able to contribute to the sublime task of nation building.
