The Liceo de Cagayan University is headed by Dr. Rafaelita Pelaez-Golez, President and Chairperson of the Board of Directors.
As a closed family corporation, the University has a flat and lean administrative staff which makes her management responsive, effective, and action-oriented.
Her formal installation as a full-fledged University bestows on her the distinction of being the first private non-sectarian university, and the first in the city in 39 years.
