Program Educational Objectives

After completion of the degree, Bachelor in Elementary Education, the graduates will be able to:

  1. Teach across the different learning areas in the Elementary or as special education experts and preschool facilitators.
  2. Engage in various trainings, seminars, workshops and other activities for professional enhancement.
  3. Conduct action researches that would resolve issues and concerns in classroom settings.
  4. Practice evidence-based decision making through the use of assessment results to improve educational practices.
  5. Exhibit professional behaviors, ethics and values theLicean way.

Program Outcomes

Upon graduation, the Bachelor of Elementary Education graduates are expected to:

  1. Demonstrate understanding of learners, their social and cultural background.
  2. Plan appropriate instruction or activities that support student learning.
  3. Engage students in planned learning experiences.
  4. Establish a classroom climate conducive to learning.
  5. Evaluate, act upon and report student progress.
  6. Upgrade teaching skills through professional readings, attending graduate studies, and other related endeavors.
