The University celebrates the triumph of the College of Rehabilitation Sciences as the new graduates of Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy hurdles the licensure examinations held on August 6 and 7 with a whopping 100% passing rate.
Liceo U pioneered the offering of BS Physical Therapy as the first school in the country to be granted a permit to operate in 1989. Since then the program experienced ups and downs in enrolment. This batch is the last in the down spiral. The College has seen a rise in enrolment in the past 4 years with 30+ expected to graduate in March 2017. Formerly called the College of Physical therapy, it was renamed College of Rehabilitation Science in 2014 when BS Occupational Therapy was added. Next school year, new courses will be offered; BS Speech Therapy and BS Respiratory Therapy.
Kudos to the College Dean Dr. Denise Orong and faculty for this accomplishment.
